The offices of Wayne County Government are not able to do genealogical research for people. If you would like access to our records, you are welcome to visit in person and you will be given access to our public records. Below is a list of genealogical researchers that would be happy to assist you. You may also check with the local libraries for assistance searching their records.
If you have the exact information (date, name, address, etc.) you may request a copy of documents. There usually is a cost for the copies which is set by law. For more information visit the appropriate offices web page.
